Mr Graeme Bass

I am a solicitor and have worked in Insurance Litigation for more than 20 years.  I am an active member of Mary Immaculate  and St Peter’s church in New Barnet, where I volunteer as a member of the Finance Committee and I am also a Eucharistic minister.    My other interests include public speaking where I am the Immediate Past President of Kings Speakers, a public speaking club for people with speech impediments and social anxiety. I am married with a young daughter.

Before being appointed as a Foundation Governor at St Joseph’s I have been a Foundation Governor at another Catholic primary school in Barnet. Having had a Catholic education myself, I know the importance of education based around Catholic principles and I want to be able to contribute to supporting other families to experience this within the local community.  As Governor, I hope to assist, to the best of my ability, the head teacher and the school to maintain and improve upon its outstanding achievements.”
